Ginny & Georgia. Will it be continued?
“Ginny & Georgia” doubles its audience in Season 2 across major markets.

Season 1 to Season 2 comparison in France, Germany, Poland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
“Ginny & Georgie,” a series about a mother and daughter struggling with their problems, debuted on Netflix on February 24th, 2021. It gained almost 1.5 M Unique Viewers (UV) in Germany, 1.8 M in France and Germany, and more than 12 M in the United States seven days after the premiere.
No surprise that the story of two extraordinary women got a renewal for a second season. And this time, the number turned out to be even more impressive.
As our Showlabs data shows, people in the presented countries gave “Ginny & Georgia” season 2 huge attention. Since its release on January 5th, 2023, it doubled the first season results for Unique Viewers. Total Hours Watched (THW) metric doubled in Germany and France; in Poland and the United States almost tripled; and in the United Kingdom tripled compared to season 1.

We can also observe a significant Share of Viewing (SoV) growth between season 1 and season 2 in each country. For example, in Poland, more than one-fifth of active profiles tuned to watch season 2, and viewers in France, the United Kingdom, and in the United States were also close to this score.

Let’s take a look at the daily dynamic of Unique Viewers' numbers. We observe an increase on the first day after release, then a slight decrease and stabilization for the next days, which is more than typical. However, the season 1 performance in the United States looked quite different, as we can see its peak on the fourth day after the premiere.

The numbers show that “Ginny & Georgia” kept the audience's attention, and Netflix’s Top English Titles List also confirms that. So the potential for season 3 seems to be noticeable. But since Netflix deleted other successful and popular content, it’s hard to expect anything. Especially since even Sarah Lamper, the “Ginny & Georgia” creator, cannot confirm the series continuation.
